The 5th International Symposium on Mine Ventilation in Ibero-America 2026 will take place at the School of Mining Engineering of the National University of San Cristóbal de Huamanga (UNSCH), located on the 3rd block of Av. Independencia, within the University Campus in Ayacucho, Peru.

AUDITORIUMS

MINING ENGINEERING SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

This auditorium will be one of the main venues of the event, providing a suitable space for conferences and technical presentations.

CIVIL ENGINEERING SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

A modern space that will host specialists and participants in various symposium sessions.

LAW SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

This auditorium will host lectures and academic meetings, offering comfort for all attendees.

GUIDE TO REACH THE VENUE

The 5th International Symposium on Mine Ventilation in Ibero-America will be held at the National University of San Cristóbal de Huamanga (UNSCH), located in the city of Ayacucho, Peru.

✈️ Getting to Peru

The most common route is to arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, the capital of Peru.

From there, you have two options:

Flight Lima – Ayacucho (approx. 45 min)
Domestic airlines offer several daily flights.
Land travel Lima – Ayacucho (8–10 hours)
By bus along the Central Highway, offering stunning views of the Andes mountains.

🏛 Getting to UNSCH

The Coronel FAP Alfredo Mendívil Duarte Airport (AYP) is only 15 minutes away by taxi from the University Campus.

From the Ayacucho bus terminal, UNSCH is about 8 minutes away by car.

📍 Meeting Point

All symposium activities will take place in the main auditoriums of UNSCH, located within the University Campus of Ayacucho, easily accessible from any point in the city.
