Laboratories

This matters more than it looks. UNSW Sydney — second in the world for mining engineering — lists eleven laboratories by name, among them a Mine Ventilation Laboratory. Colorado School of Mines names its Edgar Experimental Mine and its Explosives Research Laboratory. A laboratory with a name and a list of equipment can be verified; "we have well-equipped laboratories" says nothing and convinces no one.

Ventilation laboratory

This is the school's strongest card and it is not on the site today: the school hosted five editions of the International Mine Ventilation Symposium, with the sector's manufacturers present. That record supports a ventilation laboratory described in detail.
